Together with our partners, we support the sustainability efforts of the Seniorenresidenz Bad Vöslau Betriebs GmbH and thus help to save up to 20% of the energy.
📍 Lower Austria, AUSTRIA
The Seniorenresidenz Bad Vöslau is a residential complex for seniors and offers accommodation for up to 150 residents. In addition to modern apartments for active and safe living, the Bad Vöslau senior citizens' residence also offers residents dining rooms, modern nursing stations and a heated indoor pool.
All of these premises enable the seniors to live a self-determined life and at the same time present the operator of the retirement home with major challenges in dealing with the rising energy costs - especially with regard to heating costs in the winter months.
Efforts are being made to counteract the rising costs of energy - especially with regard to heating costs in the winter months - without restricting the comfort of the residents.
The components of the existing building automation are getting on in years and the availability of spare parts is de facto no longer existing.
The existing building automation does not offer any open interfaces to allow interaction with optimization tools.
In the first step, the existing building automation was replaced by a modern, state-of-the-art solution by GTS AUTOMATION during ongoin g operation. In this context, an open/standardized interface to other systems was created using BACnet.
The components of all buildings and systems were integrated into oqdo.bos as a central platform.
The client gains a better understanding of its existing systems and their interrelationships, and at the same time a tool with which any problems that may arise within the system can be quickly identified and rectified.
With the help of digital twins and a smart building ontology, data was structured uniformly and process dependencies were defined. By using this information, for the first time it is possible to clearly and easily understand where and how much energy is consumed.
Users receive real-time notifications on their mobile devices when faluts or alarms occur. With the app they can easily determine whether they need to be fixed immediately or whether an on-site visit is necessary.
Machine-learning algorithms are used by our partner EFFICIENTIO to continuously optimize the heating and cooling systems. The data flow runs via the central platform oqdo.bos
